    What about opening up the top "flanges" on the mag so the next bullet can sit a little bit higher?

    You will have to be careful not to open them too far.
    ALSO IT MAY NOT BE ADVISABLE TO DO. Just a farmers way of trying to fix it. (I have a Marlin 22 and did this to improve one of the magz).

    Im not familar with the Krico sorry.
