    Lab radar

I’m having issues getting consistent readings when using a supp. Yes I have the air gun microphone. It’s seems to be worse with my A-tec supp. I didn’t get one single reading with 18 rounds fired this morning. I tried moving it forward backwards sideways nothing. So I’m wondering those with a lab radar what position do you find best to get consistent readings with a supp on? It doesn’t seem as bad when I’ve used a dpt in the past from memory?

Never had an issue with mine other than alignment every now and then. I have the mic but mine works with suppressed centerfires without it. I have a 22 that is super quiet and that triggers with the mic.
Might have an issue with your mic or the jack point?
Is it triggering on each shot but giving error message?
I was using mine this morning and noticed if I shifted it while armed it triggerd and gave error message.

I had an issue with the last mic sent it back and got a new tested one. Didn’t have any error messages at all this time just wouldn’t pick up anything suppressed. I might have a talk to Fraser and send the whole thing to him for a look see

Do you shoot with unit beside or forward of the muzzle? I can send you my mic to see if it is the mic if you want?

Normally beside and just behind. Tried it everywhere this morning. Thanks for the offer mate but it’ll be right. The mic was working fine with a dpt supp last time. I’ve just found it really fussy the th A-tec. I might just put a few rounds past it with the supp off next time first.

A recoil activated trigger may be a solution.

Won't ship to NZ. The other outfit that makes them won't answer emails.

No worries. Seems odd as mine runs with the mic on a very quiet suppressed 22.
If you change your mind let me know before lunch tomorrow as I plan to be on a helo later in the afternoon if the weather allows.

With my unit I set it up in front of, and just to the side of the suppressor when using suppressed rifles. No air gun trigger required.

    Cheers

I have the mic but dont use it much, It was giving me false triggers. Without the mic I have the unit forward of the suppressor by about 2 inches with a 2-4 inch gap to the side. With muzzle brakes Ill put it just in front but about 12 inches to the side. 30 rounds today from 2 suppressed and 2 braked rifles recorded every shot.

Give me a call we’ll see what’s up

There are some settings to check

Even my 300 BLK subsonic works with the trigger attached

Tested my RAT today. Perfect operation. No false triggering when slamming bolt shut like some on the market apparently do.
Will solve the issue of false triggering from other shooters nearby.

Very happy with the product @mcvdmerwe thanks.
