75/15/10 black powder matters

"Sixty percent of the time,it works every time"

@Micky Duck I will give you plenty of warning when I come to inspect your collection so they can all be spotless !
Yes the stock is repaired
And I suspect that the dirt will be dried on oil from being stored and never shot.
Likely valuable beyond our dreams and will remain a cabinet queen for ever

I have several rifles that came from collections and might not have been fired for 100 years and the amount of old dried oil and dirt accumulation showed unfired for a very long time

Are you bored of your nos recently acquired already?
@Boxton No not bored. But both those rifles were relatively easy fixes and are all sorted now.

Bump
I do have a Lancaster Oval bored rifle here now BUT SADLY IT'S JUST VISITING
Picked it up this week for a friend and doing the gunrunner thing with it.
Its a Lancaster oval bored 380 Rook Rifle and very nice to have a Lancaster oval bored rifle here even if only visiting.
So if anyone hadn't seen this thread last year when I kicked it off and you have an unloved Lancaster oval bored rifle you want to liquidate PM me

My 12g SxS probably has oval bores if that's of interest to you. It was my first firearm back in the days of the Lifetime Licence.
RETRACTION
My shotgun is old & worn out, probably to the point of having oval bores. Unfortunately not what was required.
