    The Lapua brass test

Yesterday I bought ADI brass. I have mixed feelings about this.

For a long time I have had a simple rule. If I can't get Lapua brass, I don't buy the rifle. This way reloading is easy. High end components, good dies, no problems.

284 Winchester just got a whole lot cooler than it already was in my humble opinion. Also the 6.5PRC

    Very cool rounds coming out.

ADI or ADG ? They are at opposite ends of the brass quality spectrum, ADI is pretty agricultural...

    ADI

    It looks pretty agricultural.

I'm pretty agricultural. That's why I use Lapua. I don't have to measure and weigh everything and fluff about. I can simply seat a projectile in a trimmed case with carefully measured powder and I get results.

I've loaded very accurate loads in 223 and 308 with ADI brass. The 223 stuff is great because it produces good groups and velocity spreads, and I have literal bucket loads of it. I get pissy when I lose Lapua brass in the field.
