$3,899 tsp (tracy short price) for the Atacr with moar reticle is not bad , thought they were going to be dearer.
The beast at $5,499 tsp is a bit on the nose for the average lR guy when he can just use a 6-32 NXS and canted base for half that cost.
My preference is the finer NPR1 reticle as it will only subtend to cover .625 of an inch at 1000 yards, the moar reticle crosshair junction covers 1.4 inches at the same distance, or a 2.8 inch square at 2000 yards.
I won't be selling either of my npr1 equipped scopes and will get a Atacr when they offer them in npr1 and Nightforce confirm they have the same HD glass as the beast, rumour has it the glass is HD but not the same as the award winning B.E.A.S.T.
New Zealand is receiving these scopes very quickly, I am going to wait, And not going to make any assumptions based on internet conversations or advertising.
I waited before deciding to buy a March scope, and don't regret that decision.
