A leather hunting sling?!!!! To make one you would have to kill an animal!!!! Surely that's not legal.

Standing bull did my sling for my 30 30 and I'm looking at getting him to make another one with a raised comb built in shortly, he does great work and is easy to deal with he'salso happy to make any changes you like too.

I'd bet it would snap in half the first time it got wet too. Oh well into the stew. 8 hours in the slow cooker.

Costs around the same as an off the shelf one but proper leather seems like it will last a lifetime

Could one of you please PM me StandingBull's email address? He made me a shotgun belt a few years back, I emailed him a couple of days ago on the same address about a rifle sling and haven't seen an answer yet. He's probably just busy and I'm in no real hurry anyway, but it's worth checking the address hasn't changed. Thanks.
