    Lee Enfield Price check

Im about to sell three Lee Enfields, happy to go through here before throwing on the yellow site, ive a truck with a diesel mechanics bill thats going to be around 2500, and thats on top of the $860 breaks and a raft of other things that need paying for, but the trucks worth it, she’s a good old girl…..

    The rifles are
No4Mk2 PF serial Fultons regulated, AGP ball burnished barrel with Parker Hale rear target sight, (5PHC I think) very good barrel
No4Mk1/3 (f) FTR /51 again regulated by Fulton rear ladder sight, interestingly had smle rear sight braised and subsequently removed, need two top woods it has a good barrel
No4Mk1/3 (f) FTR 49 again missing top woods missing but nice rear ladder sight, again another good barrel

There a JC that will go as well,

Im going to get the correct top woods and sell them complete, but im wondering if anyone knows of what any recent antique arms or similar auctions are getting for similar rifles?

    Cheers

Will need some pics to give a fair assessment.
It's all fun and games till Darthvader comes along
I respect your beliefs but don't impose them on me.

You would be best to sell them as the target rifles they are (regulated by fultons of Bisley for range use). There is some demand for them for range use and they normally sit under 1k but completely depending on sights, condition, etc.
Ironic when you consider the cost of them originally compared to a sold out of service no4.

The JCs vary wildly and depends on condition and whether it’s all original. I’ve not paid more than $600 for one but they are regularly advertised for up to $1200.

    Photos would be useful.

I would be keen on one of the no1/3 rifles. Not sure what it's worth missing bits, let me know. Will be down your way this weekend anyway.

These high prices and the START of inflation need to be laid at the feet of our politicians. If they hadnt cut shooters off at that knees prices for these old shitters, would still be pennies! the whole buy back system is flawed and creatied a demand that is unsustanable just like the housing . job / work / cant afford food or petrol. damn i think my tongue got stuck in my cheek.

Must have posted this in the wrong place
Fulton regulated rifles with the right ammo and shooter would probably outshoot anything you own at 1000 yards!!!
I don’t see any old shitters!!
Based on auction prices no4s have largely gone back to pre confiscation prices

    ..[/QUOTE]

Might have been true in 1975 but not so now.

Sold this one in July '17 for a ridiculous price. Can't beat an auction with two bidders that "must get it"..
