Plenty around - Savage, Marlin, etc. For me personally the 17hmr is a bit of an awkward middle ground between 22LR and 223, but it is fun and suits some people well.
Just found one on killwells website, guess they do exist
Yeah it is a bit of the middle ground, its the 'missus' bunny gun.....
Or maybe not, just looking at ammo prices 35-40 for 25 rounds.... 223 is cheaper to run with factory ammo
Not quite $31 for $50

I have a left handed savage and it shoots very well.
Ahhh 17wsm vs 17hmr, that would make the difference
There's one on tm
If the WSM survives as a cartridge, I shoot the 17 HMR awesome round and looked at a 223, bit of an overkill for the small farms I shoot. Convenience, no noise, and accurate out to 180 metres I find, will kill further out but maybe I'm not that good on a regular basis:)
CZ do a nice 452 in 17HMR. Had one. Sold it. Noisy, expensive, wind blown PITA. 223 is better in very way for what i wanted.
22 hornet ?
It will do the job on rabbits you just need to think along the lines of the lr guys and know your drop

50 rounds for $30 bucks ain't an expensive afternoons? Suppressed they're quiet and wind doesn't really concern me, it has to be blowing it's arse off. A 223 is a totally different kettle of fish to me for what I do, horses for courses:cool:
