Leica 2800.com
What's people's experiences with the rangefinder? Am I correct in saying the rangefinder will be able to generate the ballistic curve out to 1000 yards, but when connecting to a kestrel it'll just extend the distance it can generate the ballistic curve to and give the windage correction? Therefore anything under 1000 yards the rangefinder alone with its internal sensors will adjust for temperature, altitude/pressure and angle and then display the correct elevation adjustment on its screen? So if im not worried about wind adjustments and shooting over 1000y the rangefinder alone will be enough? Thanks in advance.

"The Leica Rangemaster CRF 2800.COM offers hunters and long-range shooters three ballistic outputs in addition to the measured distance. Depending on the ballistic data required, when using Leica’s ballistic program, the CRF2800.COM provides either hold over value in inches, centimeters or comeups in MOA or MILs to 1,000 yards, or equivalent horizontal range (EHR) to 1,200 yards/1,100 meters. When connected with the Kestrel 5700 Elite with Applied Ballistics, the CRF2800.COM will display both elevation and windage corrections as far as the range finder can read." https://leicacamerausa.com/leica-ran...-2800-com.html
Pretty good little rangefinder and the ballistic solutions are the same as you get from Applied Ballistics

Have one, works great. Only recently programmed my ballistic data into it and it’s spot on. Saves a step of looking up my click value on ballistic ae.

Awesome thanks, will look to get one.

I have the 2700 and it range every time with a firing solution out to 1000m. Love mine if you can get the binoculars. If i could do it over I'll go that route
