Agree with you on FOV although I made the mistake of looking through The Swaro NL Pures and now run the 10x32ds which have more FOV and better glass by a significant margin than my 10x42 geovids did(actually the have more FOV than the 8x42 Geovids also. I do miss the in built rangefinder at times but FOV it bloody nice to have when scanning country.
