I have a pair and rate them however their twilight performance is limited compared to a same brand pair of 8x32 or 10x40's. I purchased mine for trips where binoculars may only occasionally be required. If most of your glassing is for short periods during reasonable light levels I think you will be pleased with them. If however you tend to sit and glass for longer intervals, or first and last light is important, a pair of 8x30/32's may be a better option. The weight of the 8x20 means you are more likely to slip them in your pack, where a larger pair may get left at home. They are also ideal for other recreational activities such as tramping, MT biking, beach walking etc where its nice to have a nosey at that distant object. I use mine for varminting all the time. They are nice and clear, fit nicely into my top shirt pocket and for this purpose, are much safer than scanning with your rifle scope. In summary, yes I would purchase again! The Leica display may have a pair at the Sika show if you wanted to 'try before you buy' Good luck with your decision.![]()
