Thread: Length of barrell measurement

    Close the bolt, insert cleaning rod to contact and measure that....

    Tell the gunsmith exactly how much you want off the muzzle.... don't worry about the overall length.. less complicated that way.. lees chance off error from working out differing overall lengths..

    Sidney thanks for that but if I want to mark it so it becomes no shorter than 16 inches where would I measure from ?
