Thread: Let's talk spotters for hunting/shooting/wildife

Alright all, thought I'd ask around what everyone is using for multi purpose spotting setups. I've got a Swaro ATS 80 through work but was thinking about a more compact, straight one with a reticle option (no, don't have the cash for a STS 60 or BTR as the spare kidney is sold already... ) would not be using work kit for personal missions.

Seen plenty reviews on the Athlon Ares 15-45x60 which also has the option for a fixed power reticle. Anybody running one of these?

Not too keen on the price they are going for in the UK (£700+ for the spotter and £200 for the mil eyepiece) when people are getting the whole shebang for $6-750 in the USA.

Keen to see what people are using. Cheers
