Leupold vari x iii turret upgrade?

Can the elevation turret on this scope be upgraded to a CDS or CDS ZL?

Trying to figure out which rifle I want to put it on.

    Cheers

Ive found it impossible to find the older turret upgrades for these lewies. The butler creek ones i think they are called work if tou can get em.
And there seems to be no stock of the lewie SOD anywhere ive seen its all gone cds.

If im wrong id love to know.

I believe S1 option is for later VX3 scopes - pretty sure they are for click adjustment only turrets.

You have 2 options. Send to Leupold for fitting of the actual target knobs fitted to some of the Vari-Xiii 6.5-20 scopes (and to be fair some of the 3.5-10 and 4.5-14 models) or after market knobs from Stoney Point. Some on TM now, but twice what I sold mine for here! They do pop up on forum now and again but go quickly.

Re the back to Leupold option, I sent a 4X a Leupold back for elevation knob a few years back. Used on a subsonic 44 magnum. Worked well.

Not sure if we can link to TM listings, but here it is https://www.trademe.co.nz/sports/hun...4469659103.htm

Leupold option should allow use of either one of these covers.

From my last conversation with the fantastic guys at NZ Asia in Nelson you could have a cds turret or a cds zl2 added to one of these for about $340

Possibly not, I have some aliexpress ones, and they seem well enough made.

There is a pic of one marked strong point. Other pics are unmarked so I suspect a copy, but stuff coming out of China is better and better every day, just look at the night vision stuff and small torches.
