It wasn't much extra so I figured why not. Even if I need it once it'll be well worth it. Lots of brightness settings and it remembers whatever you set it on too.

I think I would definitely have mine on while spotlighting. It really makes that crosshair pop.

I've got one on one of my Sauer's and just love it ... Leupold and Weaver for me. I also just picked up the new Leupold illuminated Hog scope in 30mm barrel (1.5-4 zoom). Very very cool - comes in "Pig Plex".

Anyone running a 3x18x44 on a long action sako85? 1 piece optilock rings seem to be a bit short, need to remove the recoil lug, anyone using bases and rings please get in touch
