got 3-18x44 with firedot reticle - works a treat. My only complaint is the clicks on dial up are kinda musshy and not firm/definite as I would like. (Vortex, NF, Weaver etc all have much better feel)

The fine duplex is not good for hunting as VC said, unless punching paper is your thing.

I had a VX6 2-12x42 and was impressed by it's optics and it was just as bright as the Z6 1.7-10x42 I had too with excellent FOV. They both weighed a little too much for me though and my Sako 85 BB .308 handles better with a lighter scope so I sold both and now use a 2-7x33.

The older Sako rifles had a great, easy to bed action. The Sako 85, well, it's certainly different. Haven't really studied it closely as I have no need to bed my 85.
