    Only thing I would add is the VX5HD is a very heavy scope in my opinion. A nice 3-9 or similar is far more portable for those of us that walk and stalk A mate has a 4-14 VXR? with the firedot and the eye relief change between powers is terrible. He is going to get rid of it. I would too. Dont think that issue is there with the 5HD. Shame as it is a nicely balanced and weight scope.

    Hi Hiawatha, I did notice when holding the two scopes in the store the VX3 was more or less half the size of the VX5. It's definitely one of my deciding factors.

    I have the VXR 4x14 with powerpoint love that scope eye reliefs a little shit after 10x but I never shoot over 300 yds
