Meant to make it easier, now I have more options to consider haha.

It sounds like spec wise the VX5 is the way, but price and weight makes me lean more towards the VX3. I think the VX3 definitely meets my needs, in respect of glass quality I've been using an old Bushnell Dusk to Dawn so I think the VX3 is going to be big step up from that. Will post up what I choose.
