VX3i is what you want on a lightweight rifle.
The clicks are a bit soft and dials can change while carrying. A coverd cap option can be good.
Optik is good.
Eyebox can be addressed by adding a cheekpiece sized for your own face.
Parallax is not needed under 300m but makes the view sharper and both crosshair and target can be focused at once. As said it can easily be set wrong when you step off the open country and into the bush. Adjusting the power down to 4x is a good fix for that then leave parralax at 100 or 200m.
