    Leupold Windplex reticle

Has anyone had experience with the Leupold Windplex reticle?
I have a Burris scope with a similar reticle which I really like, but all the pictures I've seen of the Windplex make it look quite thick.

I'm considering a VX3i Windplex for my 17hmr, but a little concerned the reticle will be too thick and cover up the small criters too much.

    Cheers

Had one in the past, works ok but for small varmint type applications probably too thick.

As said above have one on my centre fire in vx5 and like it for that . It is thicker than duplex personaly wouldn’t want want one for small game unless they can bring out a finer one that would be cool 👍🏻

I use it on my vx3i and vx5 and like it. Love the idea and implementation of the reticle but as mentioned it is a touch on the thick side.

Cheers all, does sound like it will be to thick for my intended purpose. Will look in to other options.

Swaro 4W has about the right thickness, a higher budget though for an HMR.

Yeah like the look of that 4w, but for the price of Z3 you can step up to a VX5hd and get the Impact 29, which is nice and thin for varmints.
