See leupold has come out with a vx3i that has the same zero stop. Anyone know where to get this from?

Was playing with one in HnF today... looked good. Only 1 turn of the turret available but enough to get a 308 out to 500yrds id have thought.
Shame they don't do one in the 2-10x magnification range.
Oh no point then. Cheers guys
I looked up the specs on leupold website. The vx3i 3.3-10 duplex has elevation range of 52 moa; which is heaps.

I put a SOD (screw on dial) on my vx3i 2.5-8. It had the zero stop which limits me to 14 MOA of dial.
If the zl2 dial has a button on it it will do a second rotation. Additionally one may shim under the rear mount or even go the 10 or 20 moa rail way.

@Woody the one I played with definitely only did 1 rotation. I have vx5hd 's and the turret looked similar but narrower I think than the vx5.
Fair enough. The Leupold site is a bit misleading then; in that it doed not make clear that the single turn dial will not allow full use of the internal elevation range. Even so, shimming or a rail should allow rangees over 500.

ZL means Zero Lock. Nothing to do with the reticle I think.
Just zero further if you want to reach further.
Yes the scope has 52 Moa of internal adjustment, but once you put that turret on you are limited by one rotation . Same with Swarovski z3 and z5
