    light weight rifle setup

    Gday,

    Would love to get some opinions for a lightweight rifle setup.

    Looking at getting into one of the Tikka T3x Super Lite and then upgrading to a Kiwi Composites carbon fibre stock.

    I have been recommended a variety of different calibres from experienced hunters which is making it pretty tough to decide. Wanting to be able to do some semi long range shooting in S.I, however majority of hunting will be N.I based.

    Leaning towards 7RM with DPT can. I haven't got any experience in hand loading as of yet.

    Already own a nice wood stocked 308, wanting a rifle I can beat up a bit.

    Any thoughts or opinions would be much appreciated!
