Hey team, wasn't able to see anything on here already that would help with my situation So thought i'd chuck it up here to hear any thoughts out there.
I have a shortened .308 baikal suppressed. Typically this is used as a bush gun but occasionally will get fired out further. I am currently doing some stock refurb and decided while I am at it I will replace the hard (plastic?) original butt plate with a recoil pad. The most common I have seen to use here is a limbsaver that I can grind down to fit. My only concern is that these are quite heavy for what they are and I don't necessarily want to add a heap of weight to it if I can avoid it.
Are there other options that are lighterweight, able to be grinded down to size, yet still do a great job on the recoil side of things?
Happy to hear your thoughts or other options.
Cheers
