As suggested up top by kiwijames, I can't seem to fault the March 2.5-25.. I'm running the 42mm, which admittedly ain't overly flash in low light.. But could go 50mm? Size, weight, tracking, mag range all fits the bill

Less mag would mean getting away with a smaller lense and hence less weight.
Z5 3-18.
Light and enough mag for anything Hunting wise.

You should talk to the manufacturers mate and get a BRADS pro model built :D
Plenty if you use the standard turret and no zero stop. Only 13.5 MOA with ballistic turret.
I get to 700 in the summer months and 630 in the winter.
Not good enough for steel but plenty for me at the range I will ever shoot animals.

+1 for HD5, bloody good glass & real hard to beat on value for $. I read on one of US forum websites about making your own zero stop from a nylon washer (longrange hunting forum i think)
