    Lightweight tripod recommendations

Looking for a lightweight tripod for spotting scope, swarovski 17-40×56.

Don't need a big tall one

This is what I was looking at, taken through the spotter with a phone freehand.

That's the sort of thing I'm after. What brand/model is it?

Got one of those too. aoka cmp163. Good as. I got a yoke from another tripod I put on top which my binos sit on real good or you can shoot from it. Longest shot is 250 with it so far, gnarly downhill shot. Spotting scope goes on it too.

I’d get it off Amazon AU as opposed to Ali express

Does it pan around easily enough and lock into a fixed position okay?

I run the Aoka too with my swaro atc and would definitely recommend it.
    I got mine off AliExpress.

I’d be keen to know what attachment you have that enables you to use your binos and rifle off the tripod. Cheers

Binos don’t attach but they sit on it nicely. Yoke attaches to the tripod using the same thread as a camera ball head but they come in two thread sizes so need to make sure its the same as the tripod.

@MSL. How do you find the ATC? Presuming you'll never go back to a 65/85? I'm tempted

Look at the Sirui carbon models. Either 4 or 5 piece. Well made, light and pretty cheap for what they are.

I can give you a model number if you need.
