List of shops to buy gear from overseas

After fishing around through the forum, it seems that a lot of people would like to know where others buy gear abroad that ship to NZ.
There could be many reasons to buy abroad but the 2 main and only ones i can think of are, its either not available in NZ or just to damn expensive.

So this thread is dedicated to those stores overseas that ship to NZ.
But before i continue on, like many i will say this "Buy locally first, within reason".
Maybe we can also have a local thread as well....an idea.

I guess we need to watch out as we will get too many repeats.

Umm, last time we had info like this it caused issues. It's pretty easy to do your own research when trying to source gear overseas

Why, some of the overseas outfits sell items that are not available here/no local agency. So you are not bypassing a local joint at any rate.

Some of the savy local agencies stopped the horses bolting ages ago. You will find this (without quoting specifics) when you visit some American websites and find NZ specifically excluded from export. Also a lot of the manufacturers already protect their offshore agencies - Michaels Of Oregon (Butler Creek, Hoppes, Bore Snake and Stoney Point etc) is a good example. Some Brownells stuff is also not able to be exported as a condition of their supply from their sources. Again, due to the products in question having overseas agencies.

Posters are constantly providing links to their favoutite offshore bargain shops so nothing new.

unfortunately protectionism means obscene prices and useless service. I still like to buy local when I can but it is usually the various parallel importers that give me the best deals. Just as well for places like Brownells or we would still be faced with $5000 bottom end ARs.

    These guys are ok also:

they also do the less than $100 deal for exports and $100 for the ITAR shit paper if you need. Haven't shipped anything for a while so cant comment on shipping costs.

Unfortunately, at this time we cannot ship any products of this brand(s) to your country due to restrictions imposed by our manufacturer. The manufacturer has specified that United States dealers should not sell internationally to protect business rights of international dealers.

Although we cannot fulfill your order for this item(s) at this time, we do recommend that you search for the home page of the manufacturer you need. Please contact them directly for a list of international dealers that you can purchase from.

If you are interested in any other brands of these products, please let us know and we will be happy to assist you with selecting a right replacement.

Thank you for your understanding and have a great day!

    Best regards

Damn shame as they make some good gear but dunno if I want to buy their stuff anymore.
