I was told by (supposedly) someone who's been to the Sako / Tikka factory and there is one quality, one barrel making section. Different engraving (stamping) of the name on the side of the barrel. Finnlights have shorter barrels than Tikka superlites in standard calibers too.

The barrels are all made on the same processing line. The difference is that Sako barrels are hand lapped and inspected before final assembly. Not that it seems to make much of a difference as hunting rifles they are both as accurate as they need to be.
