Hey fullas i'm looking at getting a decent accurate 22lr for shooting longer range with anyone had any experience with either of these two rifles? Which one would have the better action/barrel/trigger and be more accurate?
Cheers

Both of those rifles have a reputation of being very accurate. The tikka is always an option too with a bit of a saving to go towards optics/ammo/whatever

Who is selling Lithgow in NZ?

Had to ask mine to be ordered from OutdoorSports, never seen them in stock with anyone
Reloaders have it advertised on there website
https://www.reloaders.co.nz/shop/Fir...NIUM+CERO.html
I bought mine off Reloaders about a year ago and that one in the link is the first I have seen them stock since. About the same time I bought mine Serious Shooters claimed they had a few due. I never saw them listed on their website although they may have been presold.
The only other place I saw listing one was a gun shop in Tauranga who had it on Tardme. The listing claimed it to be near new but by the serial number said otherwise, putting its age before a mod that Lithgow made to overcome a minor feeding problem.
Most accurate 22rf I own and I have Walther and Anshutz as well. Before I bought the Lithgow I tried CZ 455 Varmint and Weihrauch HW Production. Neither would match the Lithgow for accuracy and in the case of the CZ nor build quality.
Their only weakness is the trigger which although very crisp is non adjustable and heavy at 1.5 kg. I fitted an after market spring to mine which halved the pull. For a bit of bling I fitted a stainless steel bolt shroud and a SS bolt knob. They match the cerakote finish colour.
As pointed out the T1x is well worth a look.
The 1416 will cost similar to a Lithgow and is their lesser Match 64 action rather than the Match 54 series.

Bergaras new rimfires look promising.

They are doing a 10/22 clone as well.

Just a slopy retrobate
For what its worth - My Lithgow LA102 (the 101's C/F stablemate) is a superb shooter, consistently doing 0.3MOA with no tuning - easily the best performing factory rifle I've ever shot. The trigger is "different", although not light in weight the let-off is very smooth and predictable, a definite aid to good shooting. I've shot F class a bit and while it would be an "ask" to beat the top guys with the Lithgow, it'll certainly hang with them - there would only be X's in it.
Horses for courses.
The Lithgow is more of a dedicated PRS type rifle.
The Anschutz is more of a general purpose, hunting type rifle. I've played with the trigger on my Annie and have it down to around 600g (pretty much standard for my practical competition rifles). Even the sporter Anschutz rifles are several notches higher in quality than most of the other stuff you will see. I ended up making a tuner for it so that I could tune for a particular brand of ammo, rather than messing around trying to find which ammo it likes.
Both are accurate rifles that would probably outshoot most guys
Another option to look at is the Tikka T1, loads of options for stocks etc.

@Moa Hunter, just about to head off on a trip, will take some photos and write up a description of the method I used for establishing tune on Sun.

Got a Lithgow in 17HMR fitted with a DPT for a while now and like it very much. Outdoorsman Headquarters in Rotorua got it in for me and were really good to deal with. Can pick off Mynas all day long from the shed roof 120m away. Shooting it regularly and knowing what it is capable off I use it on goats now out to 100m just behind the ear with no complains.
Are 10 shot mags available for the Anschutz?
