Hi Guys wanting some advice on what type of scope to go for so I can push my tikka 270 out towards 600m wanting to learn more about shooting longer distances with it.

A top end of 10x or 12x will be plenty, or 15x if you want a bit more top end. Plenty of good options in 2 or 3 to 10 or 12, some more pricey ones at 15 or 18x . What’s your budget?

A vx5 might just squeeze into your budget especially if second hand or even a 6.
gotta plug delta optics here tho....having used them side by side with my non hd and hd vx6s on the range they compare very favorably for the price opticaly.....they arnt better but they also are not much worse at all.

Burris signature hd 3-15 well inside price range unless you can find a 2nd hand vx5
I would also check out the Delta I put one on my .260 and it replaced a vx5 it's a great scope I love the extra ag range.
