my BDL rem 700 in .222 bought new in 1975 $220- not collectable - but have shot so many animals with it- carried it so many miles culling goats and deer - on second barrel -not even the best for that job - that honour would go to the sako vixen or A2 model sako with a built in magazine - but never to be sold - very accurate and reliable - trigger second to none - but can be a pig to reload in a hurry due to the magazine being designed for .308 length cartridges with a block in it for .222 - on mobs of goats used it as a single shot
