They're all good rifles and they'll all suit your needs.
I have the T3 in .270, its a great rifle and i love (though i wanted one from the get go so i'm bias)

The cons are some people don't like the plastic magazine, trigger guard and dense recoil pad.
The pros is its light weight and the fact that you are getting a Sako barrel with a 3 shot sub inch moa from factory guarantee

Just to be pedantic, the phrase 'sub inch moa' doesn't actually make any sense unless you're talking about a really small extinct bird.

And to be sensible and realistic, I know what you mean - Tikka are very good at marketing the fact that their rifles give about the same accuracy as everybody elses.

So you are saying everybody elses guns consistantly (in the price range) do 3/4inch MOA out of the box on factory ammo?

Mine have with the tight ammo.
There are only three types of people in this world. Those that can count, and those that can't!

Please don't say 'inch MOA', it doesn't make sense and such things annoy me more than they should.

I don't use factory ammo much but with handloads my current and previous Savage centrefires shot 0.5 MOA, there are a couple of Rem 700s in my family that do about the same, my Ruger 308 only shoots 0.75 MOA though. Even the Savage 22mag I had grouped between 0.75 and 1 MOA, obviously that one used factory ammo.

Its really nothing unusual, plenty of people on here with Howas, Marlins and whatever else can tell similar stories. Tikka have just been clever enough to turn it into some very successful marketing.

7mm08 is more expensive, barnual steel is about 74cents to 86 cents for 308....if price is important and range not....
