    loose suppressor?

I have been noticing patterns with the accuracy of my 7mm mag and when going over the rifle noticed if I knock the rifle there is a metallic rattle within the suppressor as though the isolating tube is rattling on the barrel. After a couple of shots once the barrel is warm the rattle goes away and the groups tighten right up (I don't let it get hot).
Wondering if anyone has experienced anything similar. I'll ring the manufacturer tomorrow to have a chat with them and see what's happening

Gunworks? Mate had one on a 243 come loose internal. Awesome service though and was replaced free of charge. Very professional operation.

It was one of those discoveries that explained why you would get good groups one day then go back another day to.confirm the load and have inconsistent results. Have burnt a fair bit of powder over that time

yea they shouldnt rattle. talk to the guys who made it. the rattle will obviously go away as the metal swells under heat, but it shouldnt do that tho

A "mate" hasnt put something in there for you to stress over?

One AA battery under your bunk drawers or in a light fitting on a boat is a goody, rolls round a couple of times then jams sideways and stops till your almost asleep then does another couple of rolls. Bloody offsiders! took me a couple of nights to find it but i got him back with the light fitting

More like a single baffle but it actually sounds like something hitting on the barrel rather than within the suppressor itself (very good question )

I'll let the manufacturer check it over, it would require being able to locate exactly what is rattling first and that is something I cant be bothered doing these days, I'm time poor enough as it is...
