I had a rifle (that's right, a rifle!) "delivered" to me, said it had been delivered and signed for and everything, I definitely didn't receive it, turns out the bloody thing had been delivered to some person way down in Oamaru! I got it in the end, courier company had their tail between their legs on that one... if that's not a breakdown in the way the postage/courier system works I don't know what is!

UPDATE:
AMI paid out the value of the scope (not customs/gst and minus excess) but $2330 is better than a kick in the teeth. Will have to find the extra to replace it but hopefully they can send as replacement and avoid 2x customs and GST.
