About LinkBacksAlthough not really a low power scope, the VX6 2-12 is a fantastic close range scope, especially with the firedot reticle.
On 2x the FOV os massive and can shoot both eyes open real easy.
The VX6 1-6 or VX5 1-5 would be even better close up, but I struggle to see that you would find 2x too much on a hunting rifle.
Edit: you will not be disappointed by the optics!
