About LinkBacks26" is good. I have 27" on my 6.5creedmoor. And stick with the Remington varmint profile or profile number 4. If you are gona walk a bit.Mine is a Remington varmint profile and can handle 12-15 consecutive rounds with no problem.
If you go with 6.5 .make sure it is a1 in 8 twist as the 1 in 8.5 don't always stabilise the heavier pills.
7mm should be good as well.
