    M1-9mm Carbine

    Legacy Sports - M-1 9mm Carbine

If this bad boy had it's mags pinned at 7 rounds is it legal for A-cat licence holders?

Next question is how do you go about getting it here, it seems Cameron Sports Imports get howas through legacy sport so they should be able to get hold of this but they say they don't deal with consumers so how would you go about it?

Or any other 9mm carbine rifle, those marlin ones look alright but haven't seen them on any websites here for sale

The marlins are good rifles but they stopped making then.
You can import a 9mm AR fairly easy for around $1600 or buy a just right carbine locally for a little more.

You'd also have to have the barrel band changed to "type 1", without the bayonet lug, before it came in.
10MRT shooters do it 60 times, in two directions and at two speeds.

Right, thanks for clearing that question up ishoot10s.

Might as well ask while I'm here, what kind of 9mm rifles/carbines/ bolt action or semi even pump actions is there in NZ?

The 12 gauge 9 mil thing you've been play in' with! Yep, AR's are addictive, pretty damn good system.

Ahh right. Yeh I like the 9mm but dont like single shots. I much rather a mag fed gun

What accuracy would you expect from a AR 9mm?

Better than pistol accuracy for sure, due to the barrel length, MOA I would expect but never forget its a pistol round with a trajectory curve somewhat like a pound of butter when compared to a rifle cartridge.

10mm, 40 or 45acp don't tickle you? I hear the 303 was designed for the 45-70 you could prob buy a fast twist barrel for someting outta grandads cupboard and cast some 500grain subs.....

I reckon at the GC price they are a total waste of time. I'd like an actual M1 carbine chambered in .30
