I did about 3 weeks worth of research all over the internet (including the parts your mother warned you about), & most of the cheaper mounts had horror stories about destroyed scopes, stripped threads, bending, not holding zero, etc. The CASM mount was one of a very few that had overly positive reviews, & it's easier to get stuff from Canada than the US, so I went with that, & never regretted it once. Top bit of kit, with excellent fit & finish, & good clear instructions.

I can also recommend getting a TacPro adjustable cheek rest, pretty necessary to get some sort of cheek rest with an M-305...

Yeah the more I look at that scope mount the more I like it, rear peep sight is a plus as I'm looking at some crazy contraption on the front so I can mount a suppressor and retain the front sight post. $160ishNZD isn't too bad, do you recall what the shipping was like? Those cheek rests look good also. Thanks for sharing your findings.
