Should have a M55 dial rear sight.
Optics should be Fixed 4 power German.
Front sight should have the sight hood.
May have the M41/M41b stock disk.

Even a real M41/41b could have mismatched parts.
But the SM-sight m/55 rear sight is an absolute requirement.

Does the scope base serial number match the rifle serial number?

If you're talking about the one that was at the arms fair in Auckland last weekend then yes, it wasn't genuine.

The things i noticed were the unblued bolt handle and rear sight but after researching a bit it looks like the first ones were like that

Scope mount was in an entirely different place on the rifle (way too far to the rear), looks like a homage rifle that wasn't done quite right.

If it's any consolation, it wouldnt still be for sale if it was the genuine article, I would have bought it immediately.
