Thread: Machining suppressor bush for tapered barrel

Have had my DPT overbarrel silencer on my AR for a while now minus the bush in the back end, mainly because my barrel tapers and is thicker leading up to the thread than it is at the rear of the suppressor.

Anyone got any ideas on the best way to fit that bush seeing as if it's milled tight on the barrel it won't fit over the thread?
My only idea has been to mill it to fit and split it in half and glue it back together on the barrel.....
not the greatest solution
