    MAE Suppressors

I was just going to MAE’s website to look to see if they do bolt fluting and thought I would browse suppressors whilst I was at it. I have been planning to get a MAE 6-30 ST soon for my Howa 6.5CM build. I can’t see anything suppressor related on their website and searches come back empty.

Have they got out of the suppressor/firearms industry? I sent them an email but interested to see if others have heard anything?

Pretty sure MAE are only selling through dealers. Last time I called in to the workshop off Wairau Road, they were flat out doing export orders, that was several years ago.

10MRT shooters do it 60 times, in two directions and at two speeds.

    Recent changes to their website.

On 28 Jan they had full range of their suppressors.

Different appearance, but still on the website on 2 April.

    As you say, nothing now.

They have withdrawn the website, don't know what's going on but will find out.

As I recall they moved to Whitianga so they could do more fishing and less working... so I hope the dream has come true for them.
@Oli1102 I have a MAE Suppressor here that might be of interest to you. It's one of their overbarrel versions and was fitted to my .243 with a 1/2"x20 thread, however I sold that rifle and the suppressor is sitting here waiting to be sold. Just haven't gotten around to listing it. PM me if you're interested.

Yeah, my one MAE can was designed as a .22 Rimfire can with a 1/2x28 thread, but MAE stated it can be used on a .222 or .223 centrefire with a 20" barrel. Built tough!

    (at the back of pic).

You can also use it for beating the possums or deer to death if you run out of ammo.

A mate of mine has purchased an engineering firm in Whitianga and as far as I know it is the only one in the area. Perhaps they are building the moderators among other things.

Shit I cant recall his sirname

There were a couple of outfits over there... one of them is owned by a guy Dale Wilkins. Was it this one? He built many of the piers on the waterways and put in most of the piles to support them.

Your not thinking of Steve Blenkarne who was the original Trueflite Barrels, he was off Wairau rd, think it was Target rd. Trying to think of the guys name who started MAE, his first name was Mark, the now owners took over from him.

I have an early Percy (pre-MAE), and by christ you could bludgeon an elephant to death with it. It also triggers @C7A1 so I like it even more
