Magazine trouble

Hi guys.I have just got a Tikka t3 7mm08.It has a 3 round mag but when i try to fit the mag with the bolt closed it's really hard to click in place.If the bolts open or only 2 rounds in mag it clicks in easy.Am i missing something or is this normal?

Strip the magazine and shorten the legs on the follower by about 3mm - problem solved.
