    Mail Order Ammo?

Do you need an actual arms officer to sign ammo mail order form or will any warranted officer do? I have got away with just warranted officer before, not sure if this is correct but they wouldn't do it today as of course arms officers have knocked off early being a Friday...

I've run into problems with non-sworn police staff not wanting to sign it ( at the Auckland Central station), so I just popped downstairs to the watch house and the Sergeant signed it, no problem.

The non-sworn woman behind the counter or who ever is manning it at the time.
    Never any problems.

Yes just as I thought... yep Auckland Police station, was a sworn officer wearing full uniform....told him that was all that was required, he wasn't wasn't interested and sort of squirmed around, pretended to ring someone etc...... might just try a local one, Onehunga might be ok as right next to Reloaders so maybe familiar

Ok cool, good to know. decided to order 2000 rounds now, as seems the hardest part is getting forms signed each time.
My Missus wants a 1000 as I have instilled the virtues of bulk-buying ammo :-).
To be fair I have had pretty good service from the Auckland arms officers on any other stuff so not bagging them. Probably always much easier doing gun shit in rural towns.
