    Yeah its interesting when you look at the prices they were fairly expensive but I guess you didn't have to fork out for a GPS , Locator Beacon , range finder binos , spotting scope , Fancy lightweight tent etc etc .
    Does anyone know what a new Sako cost in 1979 ?

    I paid $365 for a Tikka M55 in 1979. Paid $960 for a Sako AII in 1983.
