Thread: Marlin 795 feeding problems

Yeh, I had problems with mine along the lines you describe. (Mind you those symptoms can have many causes.) Mine was caused by ME unknowingly bending a wee bit of the mechanism. I got almost to the point of needing physiatrist help - swapped mags no change, got a mag off a Papoose no change, different ammo no change. Then pulled it apart and worked out how it functions and bingo found the bent bit. May not be the cause in your case but I will find the exploded parts manual and PM it to you. They are otherwise absolutely 100% reliable (I almost said bullet proof) as you know yourself. The other thing if it is new and under warranty he should camp up at the place he bought it.
