    Hey mate, i had the same thing happen to mine a few years ago (was my first CF rifle) I found a part number online for a Rimfire one that fitted perfectly (it was an alloy one whereas the factory Marlin one is plastic) just had to drill one of the screw holes out a little larger.

    It was a good fix, and i still have the rifle, its a loner now.

    Ill see if i can find the part number, i know i got it via Sinclairs, which i think is Brownells.

    Oh mean yea is been a pain in the ass to find one I used a washer and tightened it down on that to get it shooting proper for this tomorrows trip to Whirinaki ����
