Thread: Marlin XT-22

Quite a good entry level 22LR, though first Remington made models were not as reliable as earlier Marlin 925s etc. Remington bought Marlin about 7-8 years ago. XT-22 has very good microgroove barrel and loves all things CCI. CCI minimag high velocity, CCI subs, and CCI standard velocity solids for targets. Can shoot very accurately - under 0.5" five shot groups at 50m at best. A good hunter 22.

Try the little cheapie scope. Some basic makes like Kilwell Huntsman etc perform quite well on a worker 22LR. Will not be a dialler but if it holds zero well, it could perfectly adequate for bunnies and possums.
