Thread: Mauser magazine spring

Does anyone have a mag spring that will fit a Mauser 98? I have a very nice Husqvarna 1640 in .30/06, but the third and fifth round in the mag face plant into the front of the mag well when feeding...the spring is too weak.
I swapped it with one from another rifle for a test and it feeds perfectly. So at the moment I have two Huskies sharing the same magazine spring, which isn't ideal in the long run. Pretty sure its just a standard 98 size spring, unless someone knows different?
