Anyone using the MDT Chassis or similar sort of thing

Thoughts on them?

Anyone have one and what did you put on it

Which chassis are you talking about, the MDT21, HS3 or LSS?

I've got a LSS and personally think it is best suited to a compact rifle with a combined barrel length of no more than 20" when suppressed. Otherwise it looks a bit out of proportion with the short hand guard. They have recently released a longer version where the forend is the same length as tradional stocks.

I've got it on a Rem 700 .223/.308 which will soon be with 16" barrels. Currently its got a 20" heavy barrel. One thing I noticed is that the area behind the triggerguard where the pistol grip attaches is a bit wide and square edged for the magpul MOE + grip I'm using and was a bit uncomfrtable. Nothing 5 minutes with the Dremel and a repaint didn't fix. Alternatively a wider grip would have solved the problem.

Otherwise a well made and finished stock.

I was thinking the HS3 - I'd like to be able to attach extra 'crap' to the side

Initially would be for a 223

Is there a better fitting grip?
I see digit brings them in - really must visit one day (probably a bad idea)

We've got a range of grips for the chassis too. The new BCM Mod 0 is ideal for the HS3. We also have magpul MOE + and Magpul K2 and K2+ grips.
The LSS XL should be in our next shipment from MDT along with long action magazines and chassis.

I'll get in contact next time I'm in the area - like to work out which parts to have - want a stock with a cheek riser

Is a T3 or 700 better for the stock - mainly for how the barrel is mounted etc
