Looking for a scope for the 308 bush pig to enable more calculated longer range shots (max 350yrds). The old 308 has a trajectory best described as a rainbow once the distance starts getting out there... So I have come to the conclusion a holdover reticle is probably the best solution rather than dialing (close range shots are the norm with this rifle).
Come across the Meopta MeoPro 3-9x42 BDC but don't know anything about them.. Any thoughts? The reticle looks ideal.
Would be replacing a Kahles KX which I love but has a duplex reticle which makes any holdover a bit of guess work. However the optics are obviously great. Would the Meopta be a big downgrade?
Any other recommendations I should be looking at?
