    Meopta Scopes

    HI guys
    Are any of the Meopta scopes any good???
    Not up to speed on them and need a new scope for my Sako black bear.

    good scope , main scope used buy roo shooters in WA. Just not maketed in nz very well, will eat a leopold for dead

    Never looked through one of their scopes but have had a burn on one of their spotting scopes and it was top notch so I would say they know a thing or two about glass

    I have meopta binos - they are well worth it.

    Biggest problem with the the scopes is sourcing them - don't seem to be many about, and even the agents (kilwell) don't seem to have much in stock. I'm tossing up between a meopta and a Swarovski at the moment, probably will get the latter but just because they are actually around. If there were meoptas to be had it might be a different story. Seems you don't save much of anything by importing so will likely buy local.

    6-18 x 50 is a great scope, and, if you buy it out or Aussi then the price
    is also great. Here, not so good :-(
